Hold up, keep reading!!
I know the definition refers to ‘business owners & entrepreneurs’ but you can still be an attraction tradie if you are simply a hard working plumber or tradesman!
If you are a young ambitious tradesperson, wanting to grow and build a career you are proud of, you too can be an attraction tradie!
We all want to be the best, but how do we get there?
Here are some top tips to help you become an Attraction Tradie!
Nail your look!
Never underestimate the value of looking fresh, clean and well groomed! It’s not too common for a tradesman, so it makes you memorable to your client. And who wants someone dirty in their home?
Be helpful, show care
Don’t rush through a job as quickly as possible so you can finish the day early. More often than not, you will not complete the job to the best of your ability which will leave you with an unhappy client and a call back you and your superior won’t be happy with!
You are a guest in your clients homes. Think a bit! Don’t walk your dirty boots all through the house and leave it a mess!
Can do attitude
An attraction tradie never believes a job is too hard. They are willing to give everything a go and do it to the best of their abilities! No job is too big or too small; too hard or to easy! The client wants you to do that bit extra… You do! With an attitude like this you will go far.
Commitment to excellence
Good, better, best! An Attraction Tradie commits to doing the best he/she can with every single task they attend! No scrappy work, no quick fix instead of solving the entire issue. You provide your best work, each and every time!
The Attraction Tradie is almost see-through! Communication is key to being an Attraction Tradie! You communicate everything with your client; if you are going to be running a bit late, if there are changes to the estimated cost, what you have done to solve their problem and any tips or guidance you can provide your client.
Punctual & Accountable.
You have appointments and you stick to them! If your running late you notify your client. If you make a mistake you own it! Don’t try cover it up; be accountable and the client will appreciate you for it!
